i'm building a go starter kit to help developers ship full-stack apps without all the unnecessary complexity.
why?
because when we're building our products, we shouldn't have to worry about:
- should this page server rendered or client rendered?
- this secret environment should not be exposed on the client-side, right? right?
- why is this simple api suddenly slow?
- do i need to separate microservice for auth/payment/invoice?
- what do you mean that i have to pay for cron jobs/email/pub-sub/real-time features?
i miss go simplicity and scalability, the two features that made me fall in love with go at the first place. go is an easy-to-get-started language that a seasoned programmer or a new vibe-coders can become productive quickly.
most importantly, go makes us focus on what matters most: building a product that customer use (and pay for).
the customers do not care about the fancy tech stack that we use. they only care that our products deliver what we promised. and justusego will deliver.
how?
justusego will use battle-tested, performant, scalable, and maintainable libraries, such as:
- fiber for web server
- sqlc for database and queries
- templ for ui, with tailwind and basecoat
- email/password, oauth2 for authentication
- agents.md for ai-assisted development
when?
justusego is planned for release in early q1 2026.
